It’s an interesting truck/ute thing. Does a convincing job of looking like a truck too. Until you open the hood and see the transverse motor, of course.

Kinja'd!!!

The interior does look hella nice though.

And it kept all the practicality of the old one, what’s not to like:

I like it. Its not for me but I don’t hate on it for that. Lets not forget it has better payload that all midsized 4x4 trucks, and some fs trucks * Cough* Ram *Cough* and will be lovely on the road and and probably maybe a little better at the pump. Lets get this strait out of the way though: this is not a 4wd truck, it is an on demand part time AWD with limited lock up state functionality.

I like it. I think this is how midsize and compact trucks should be built. This is the truck I would buy. (I am assuming it can pull 3,500+ lbs, for a lightweight track car).

If it’s like the first gen, it’s really not THAT bad to get out when you need to.

The first one could easily pull 5k lbs open race trailer and racecar.

I’ve done it. Hell, the 2008 Pilot generation easily did it

Worked at a Honda dealership for 6 years, never once saw a bunch of stuff in the bed of a Ridgeline.

so it’s not really a big concern for actual customers. That’s good then!

Thanks for that tidbit

Most of them were more concerned with their in-bed cooler than the bed.

The occasional leaks, every now and then the cooler cover wouldn’t open. Usually operator error though.
